| Shear's Ownership: | 50-100% |
| JV Partners: | De Beers + Rio Tinto |
| Location: | Nunavut |
| Known Kimberlites: | 20 |
The Polar property consists of 10,830 acres and includes four known kimberlites. A 928 tonne RC bulk sample completed at Muskox yielded 477 carats, 0.51 cpt, 3.5ha. A 17.1 tonne PQ bulk sample at Voyageur yielded 0.75-0.40 carats.
The Ranch Lake property consists of 18,444 acres. The Ranch Lake kimberlite was discovered early in the Lac de Gras discoveries. It is estimated to be 600m by 300m in dimensions (12.4ha) in size and potentially host 58 million tonnes. In 1994 a mini bulk sample totalling 28.45 tonnes recovered 5.384 carats for a sample grade of 0.225 cpt.
The TAK property is located 90 km northwest of Jericho and consists of 79,000 acres and is in joint venture with Rio Tinto. The Anuri Kimberlite Complex consists of two lobes: a western lobe measuring 225m by 150m and an eastern lobe measuring 100m by 100m. Shear completed processing of a mini bulk sample from the Anuri with an overall sample grade of 0.35 carats per tonne recovered from 25.6 dry tonnes. The five largest recovered stones weigh 0.54, 0.54, 0.29, 0.28 and 0.26 carats. These diamond results are from 17 HQ core holes drilled at the Anuri kimberlite in 2007 by previous operators.
